What are IQ Option tournaments? 

Tournament is an options competition where each participant is credited with a certain equal amount to the tourney account, and traders compete with each other for some time. The winner is the one whose balance at the end of the tournament will be the largest. At the end, a final table with the results of the participants appears. The number of participants is not limited.

You can trade any assets and invest any available funds from your tourney balance. The winner is the trader who finishes with the highest amount of money in the tournament account. The prize fund is usually divided between the best traders - from 5 to 30.

How to take part in IQ Option tournaments? 

First of all, to participate in the contest, you must be a registered client on the site, that is, register with a broker as a client.

After registration, a free demo account will be opened for you and on it you can get acquainted with the trading tournaments and the prize fund. Then fund your real account (minimum deposit is $10) on the trading platform and use it to pay your tournament fee. It only takes a couple of dollars to invest. Registration 

Now we will consider the algorithm that is necessary to participate in the tournament.

4. Select a tournament and click on the orange "Join in tournament" or “Get registered” button.

5. To join, you will need to pay an entry fee. Usually it is $2-$10. But there are also free tournaments. Typically 50%-80% of your deposit goes towards the tournament prize pool.

6. It will automatically open a tournament account with a game amount in the account. You will have this account throughout the entire tournament.

7. If the tourney is already running, then you will have a virtual account and the amount on it, usually $100, and you can start trading any asset. If the tourney will be after some time, then follow the announcement and do not forget to join the competition in time. The key goal is to ensure the growth of the tournament score to the maximum achievable mark. In this case, there are no restrictions on the number of transactions made.

8. At the end of the tournament, the prize fund will be distributed among the participants. Usually it is divided between the first 5-30 participants. The list of winners is sorted in descending order by the amount on the tournament account.

IQ Option tournament rules

Now some simple rules.

• When the competition starts, the participant opens a tournament account, to which a virtual amount is credited. Depending on the tournament, this could be $100, $1,000, or $10,000. Initial conditions being equal between all tournament participants.
• Money on the tournament that is credited to your account cannot be withdrawn. They are used to participating in the tournament.
• The number of transactions during the tournament and the choice of assets for trading is not limited. When you compete with other traders in tournament IQ Option, you can choose any asset from binary options and digital options only.

• The duration of the tournaments is different, but it is always a short period of time. It may last for several days, or it may take several hours.
• Those traders who are at the top in terms of their balance sheet will be the winners of the tournament. The number of winners is specified in the rules of each tournament. The prize fund is distributed among the winners in accordance with the distribution of the prize fund of the tournament.
• If you won one of the prize places, then after the end of the tournament the winning amount will be automatically credited to your account in the form of real funds. Usually this happens instantly, but in some cases it can take from several minutes to an hour. Traders can withdraw this money from the platform. You can also invest money won in the tournament into real deals.
• Rebuy. Additionally the possibility of rebuy is indicated in the announcement of the tournament. The rebuy cost is usually $2-$10.

For example, if rebuys are allowed in a tournament and your starting balance is $100, you can click on the "Rebuy" button next to your balance and your tournament balance will be $200. The number of rebuys during the tournament is not limited, but only if your current balance and profit from open positions is less than your starting balance. The rebuy amounts are summed up and added to the prize fund of the tournament. Please note that the rebuy feature is only available on the PC version of our platform.

Prizes 

The broker also announces how the prize pool will be distributed in each tournament. For example, among the first 30 participants. Thus, your goal is to be among the first 30 participants. The participant who earns the most money in his tournament account will receive the largest share of the prize pool. However, this amount is not fixed. The amount you receive depends on how much you have earned in your account.

Leaderboard

The leaderboard shows the positions of the participants and shows how much money they will earn. You can always see the list of tournament winners by entering a tournament. Once the tournament starts and the participants start trading, the people on the list will be ordered according to their tournament account balance. The larger the balance, the higher the place in the table. Accordingly, in closed tournaments, you see the final table with the specified winnings, and in the upcoming tournament, an example of how the places will be distributed, in other words, how much a trader can get by taking one of the first places in the tournament.

The chances of winning in an IQ Option tournament are equal and great for everyone, if you only know how to quickly make decisions in transactions.
